Varun Dhawan's Film Teaser Sparks Controversy

Recently, Varun Dhawan unveiled the first look of his new movie, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, via social media. In a brief clip, he introduced his co-stars Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, along with his character from the film directed by David Dhawan. However, the actor has found himself in hot water after an influencer accused him of soliciting fake reviews for the film's teaser. This claim quickly gained traction online, prompting a strong response from Dhawan himself in the comments section.

Varun Dhawan Responds to Allegations

Simran Bhat, an Instagram influencer, shared a video earlier today alleging that Varun Dhawan was orchestrating fake reviews for the teaser of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. In her post, she recounted an encounter at a metro station where two individuals approached her, insisting she provide a review despite her not having seen the teaser.

According to Bhat, when she informed them that she hadn't viewed the teaser, they pressured her to say what they wanted. When she pushed back, one of the individuals insisted she watch it first. Ultimately, Bhat expressed her urgency to leave, but the girl rudely dismissed her.

Feeling disheartened by the encounter, Bhat remarked, “Is Varun Dhawan in such dire straits that he needs to resort to fake reviews?” The video has since gone viral, catching Dhawan's attention. He commented on her post, saying, “Hope you get the views you really want with this video (claps emoji).” Bhat replied, asserting, “@varundvn Sir, with all due respect, I don't need to resort to such tactics for views. I'm already content with my numbers…”

She further shared his comment on her Instagram stories, emphasizing her satisfaction with her current viewership and suggesting that Dhawan consult his PR team, as she believes they are damaging his reputation.
