Mumbai, April 16: The trailer for the much-anticipated film 'Ek Din' featuring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan was released on Thursday. This preview hints at a romantic narrative filled with hope and enchantment. In the footage, Junaid Khan plays a reserved character who finds himself falling for Sai Pallavi’s vibrant and lively persona.
Both characters work in the same office, but Junaid faces challenges in mustering the courage to approach her. A significant plot twist occurs in Japan when Sai experiences an accident that leads to Transient Global Amnesia (TGA), causing her to remember only Junaid, the one who rescued her.
The film appears to offer a tender and timeless love story, a rarity in modern Bollywood cinema. Its storytelling exudes an old-fashioned charm and emotional depth that harkens back to the romantic tales that once dominated the genre.
This project marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and director Mansoor Khan after a long break, rekindling one of Hindi cinema's beloved collaborations. They have previously teamed up on classics such as 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak', 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar', 'Akele Hum Akele Tum', and 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na'.
