Chennai, April 22: The highly anticipated web series 'Brothers and Sisters', directed by Chidambaram Manivannan and starring Bose Venkat alongside Gayathri Shastry, is set to debut on an OTT platform this May.
This family-oriented drama will be available for streaming on Jio Hotstar.
Produced by the team behind the successful series 'Uppu Puli Kaaram', 'Brothers and Sisters' promises a fresh perspective on contemporary family life, skillfully blending humor, emotion, and relatable scenarios.
At its heart, the series revolves around four siblings, each with unique careers and personalities, yet deeply bonded by family ties.
Bose Venkat takes on the role of a strict, traditional father managing a textile business, while Gayathri Shastry plays a gentle homemaker who keeps the family united. The cast also includes Raj Ayyappa, Nikhila Shankar, Luthuf, Kishore, Shravnitha, and Promothini, among others.
Chidambaram Manivannan, known for his work on popular shows like 'Uppu Puli Kaaram' and 'Police Police', aims to deliver a captivating blend of warmth, humor, and drama. The creators believe the series will appeal to viewers of all ages.
