Udaybir expressed his enjoyment in filming this particular scene for Dhurandhar 2, stating, "I anticipated it would be intense since it was my key scene. We auditioned specifically for it, and the final result is commendable. Kudos to Aditya sir and the editing team; everything looks fantastic."
When asked about the scene's direction, Udaybir explained that it involved a significant shock element and required a complete transformation of Pinda's character. He elaborated on what made that scene stand out in Dhurandhar The Revenge. "Initially, he appears as just a random individual lost in his thoughts and using drugs. However, that transition was crucial. Aditya sir wanted a complete shift that would make it hard for anyone to recognize him beforehand. He was deeply engrossed in his own world, unaware of his surroundings. That was the essence of the brief, and it required a lot of emotional depth," he shared.
Udaybir further noted the complexities of the scene, as his character had lost a friend and was reuniting after two decades. "The scene demanded a range of emotions, which was quite challenging. However, after receiving the brief and conducting several rehearsals, it turned out quite well."
