Indian Idol Season 16 Concludes with a New Champion
The 16th season of Indian Idol has officially crowned its champion. The final six contestants included Anshika Chonkar, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Manraj Veer Singh, Myscmme Bosu, Suhail Sufi, and Tanishk Shukla. Jyotirmayee Nayak emerged victorious, showcasing her talent with a stunning performance of 'Saiyaan O Saiyaan' during the finale. Manraj Veer Singh secured the position of second runner-up, while Tanishk Shukla finished as the first runner-up. Unfortunately, Anshika Chonkar, Myscmme Bosu, and Suhail Sufi did not make it to the top three.

In her victory speech, Jyotirmayee expressed her disbelief, stating, "Winning Indian Idol Season 16 feels absolutely surreal. From walking into the auditions with nothing but a dream to standing here as the winner, this journey has truly been life-changing. Every performance challenged me to become a better singer, performer, and person, and I'll always cherish everything I've learnt along the way. I'm immensely grateful to Sony Entertainment Television and Fremantle for giving me this incredible platform to showcase my talent and helping me grow into the artist I am today. Overview of Indian Idol 16
Indian Idol 16 kicked off on October 18, 2025, and after nearly ten months, the competition has concluded with a new champion. The judging panel featured Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah, with Aditya Narayan returning as the host. Unfortunately, Vishal was unable to attend the finale due to prior commitments. He expressed his disappointment in a statement, wishing the contestants the best for their future musical endeavors. The season began with contestants including Abhishek Kumar, Ankita Mahua Giri, Anshika Chonkar, Diwakar Choubey, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Manraj Veer Singh, Suhail, Tanishk Shukla, Amritha Rajan, Shreenidhi Shastry, Sugandha Date, Shreya Verma, Abhijeet Sharma, Banashree Biswas, Manav, and Arfin Rana. Wildcard entries Myscmme Bosu and Chaitanya Devadhe, who had previously participated in earlier seasons, also joined the competition. The grand finale weekend was graced by notable personalities such as Usha Uthup, Udit Narayan, Papon, Kumar Sanu, Shehnaaz Gill, and Urmila Matondkar.
