Overview of Wednesday

About Wednesday

Wednesday Season 1 follows the supernatural mystery of Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) at Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts. After being expelled for a prank involving a piranha, she investigates a monster terrorizing the town (Hyde), uncovers dark secrets of the school, and thwarts a resurrection plot, all while forming new friendships and experiencing supernatural visions. Despite her struggles with her cheerful roommate Enid, they eventually bond. A love triangle develops between Wednesday, barista Tyler, and moody student Xavier. Ultimately, Wednesday learns that the monster is her love interest, Tyler, who is manipulated by her botany teacher, Ms. Thornhill (Laurel Gates). In the season finale, Thornhill resurrects Joseph Crackstone, a 17th-century outcast-hating pilgrim, aiming to destroy Nevermore. Wednesday triumphs over them, saves the school, and heads off on vacation, but an unknown threat looms.

In Wednesday Season 2, Wednesday returns to Nevermore Academy for a darker, more intricate year, delving into a new, spine-chilling supernatural mystery while managing friendships and past foes. The cast includes Jenna Ortega (Wednesday), Emma Myers (Enid), Hunter Doohan (Tyler), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia), Luis Guzmán (Gomez), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley), Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), among others. Additionally, Lady Gaga made a special appearance, with Steve Buscemi, Thandiwe Newton, Joanna Lumley (as Grandmama), and Haley Joel Osment joining the ensemble.
