Charu Asopa's New Chapter in Bikaner
Charu Asopa, recognized for her roles in Mere Angne Mein, Tashan-e-Ishq, Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, made a significant life change last year by leaving Mumbai, the City of Dreams. Now residing in Bikaner, Rajasthan, she embraces her role as a dedicated mother to her daughter Ziana while also pursuing her passion for content creation. Following her highly publicized separation from husband Rajeev Sen, Charu recently disclosed in a vlog that she was invited to participate in Salman Khan's reality show, Bigg Boss 20. However, she made the surprising choice to decline the offer, a decision that is sure to resonate with her fans.
Reasons Behind Charu Asopa's Decision
In her vlog, Charu shared, "Just two days ago, I received a call from Bigg Boss. However, the changes I’ve made in my life are primarily for Ziana. I don’t want to be away from her. I aim to engage in work that allows me to be present with her while fulfilling my duties as a mother." She emphasized her commitment to only accepting projects that enable her to stay close to her daughter, stating that she is not prepared to take on roles that would require her to be away from Ziana at this point in her life.
Charu Asopa Reflects on Leaving Mumbai
Charu explained that her decision to pursue singing after leaving Mumbai was influenced by her desire to remain close to her daughter while continuing her career. She noted that if she had been comfortable with the idea of working away from Ziana, she would not have left the bustling city. Discussing her priorities, Charu stated that her life revolves around her daughter, expressing her determination to fulfill all of Ziana's aspirations. She is willing to work harder or take on additional responsibilities to achieve this goal, often working when Ziana is asleep or at school, which she finds fulfilling.
Reflecting on her time in Mumbai, Charu became emotional as she recounted the challenges of raising her daughter with minimal support. She shared that she managed everything independently and often worried about Ziana while working. Nevertheless, she expressed a desire to move forward, stating that she is genuinely content with her current life. Although she sometimes feels exhausted, she views it as a natural part of life. After a tumultuous marriage with Sushmita Sen’s brother, Charu finalized her divorce in June 2023.
