Amazon Prime Video is gearing up for the launch of the third season of the beloved web series Aspirants. The new season features returning stars such as Naveen Kasturia, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Abhilash Thapliyal, Sunny Hinduja, Namita Dubey, and Tengam Celine, with Jatin Goswami joining the cast. The series continues to follow the lives of characters who, while preparing for the UPSC exams, navigate various life paths filled with unexpected challenges.
Release Date for Season 3
Produced by The Viral Fever, Aspirants is set to premiere on March 13 (Friday). Directed by Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish, this season will delve into the characters' aspirations and journeys. The storyline follows DM Abhilash across two timelines: in the present, he faces an inquiry triggered by ALC Sandeep Ohlan, which strains his relationships with Deepa, Guri, Dhairya, SK, and Sandeep, while also challenging his ambitions. In the past, after passing the IRS, Abhilash returns to Mukherjee Nagar for one last attempt at the IAS. The series will be available in 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Naveen Kasturia's character, Abhilash Sharma, takes the spotlight as he becomes the District Magistrate of Rampur in the previous season, facing numerous challenges in his new role. In a recent interview, he expressed his comfort in portraying relatable characters who experience anxiety. He noted, "Even if I'm unsure of my lines while playing a nervous character, that uncertainty helps me embody the role. However, it wouldn't work for a character who is confident and authoritative, which requires extensive preparation."
