Born in Jalandhar, Lord Paul relocated to the UK in the 1960s for the treatment of his younger daughter, Ambika, who tragically passed away at just four years old. In her memory, he established the Ambika Paul Foundation, which has contributed millions to educational and health initiatives aimed at improving the lives of children and young people.
Despite the loss of his son Angad in 2015 and his wife Aruna in 2022, he remained dedicated to his charitable endeavors, continuing to honor their memories through his work.
