On Sunday, the world mourned the loss of the iconic Indian singer Asha Bhosle, who passed away at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. She had been hospitalized due to severe exhaustion and a chest infection. Her cremation is set to take place with full state honors on Monday.

Dr. Pratit Samdani confirmed that Bhosle's death was due to multi-organ failure. Her son, Anand Bhosle, announced that the public can pay their last respects at her residence, Casa Grande in Lower Parel, starting at 11 am on April 13. The final rites will be conducted later that day at Shivaji Park.
