The entertainment world is mourning the unexpected loss of Shefali Jariwala, known for her iconic role in 'Kaanta Laga.' She passed away on June 27 at the age of 42, with the exact cause of her death still under investigation. Reports indicate that Shefali collapsed at her residence on Friday and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri. Her remains have been transferred to R N Cooper Hospital in Juhu for further examination. Medical professionals suspect that a sudden drop in her blood pressure may have contributed to her passing.
A police spokesperson stated, 'No foul play is suspected at this time. We are awaiting the post-mortem report.'
According to her husband, Parag Tyagi, Shefali was fasting for a Satyanarayan pooja and collapsed after eating food prepared a day earlier. During the investigation, authorities discovered various anti-aging and vitamin supplements at her home.
The Mumbai police have confirmed that the cause of death remains unclear. 'We received notification of the incident at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem, and the cause of death is still unknown,' police officials reported.
