Sanchita Ugale's Untimely Demise


Television actress Sanchita Ugale, known for her role in Kumkum Bhagya, has sadly passed away at the age of 30 on June 15. Her unexpected death has left the television community in shock. Sanchita gained fame for portraying Diya Tandon in the popular Zee TV series Kumkum Bhagya. She also appeared in shows like Wagle Ki Duniya, where she played Ruchita Jaitley, and was part of the Dangal TV series Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi alongside Sorab Bedi.


Confirmation of Sanchita's Passing


Richa Soni, Sanchita's co-star from Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, confirmed the heartbreaking news. In an interview, she expressed her disbelief, stating, "I received a call from the grandmother character in the show, and that’s when I learned about it. Initially, I thought it might be fake news. We worked closely together, and I couldn't believe it until I heard it from her. It’s truly devastating, and I’m still in shock."



In addition to her television roles, Sanchita portrayed the younger version of Tara Rani in Vicky Kaushal's historical film Chhaava and was involved in Manoj Bajpayee's upcoming project Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout. She had a significant following on Instagram, with around 139k followers. Just 18 hours before her passing, she shared a lively reel lip-syncing to a popular Hindi song, captioning it, "Mai naachu tu nachaaaaa."


Sanchita's Reflections on Life and Work


In a previous interview with a media outlet, Sanchita discussed the challenges of balancing her professional and personal life. She mentioned the difficulty of managing her time with long shooting hours, stating, "Right now, managing my personal life is a bit difficult. With 17 to 18 hours of shoot daily and travel time, I hardly get any proper sleep."



She also shared her struggles with health and family time, emphasizing her efforts to eat well and rest whenever possible on set. Initially, Sanchita did not disclose her aspirations of becoming an actress to her family due to their financial constraints.
