Sanchita Ugale's Demise


Sanchita Ugale, known for her role in Saajan Ghar, tragically passed away on June 14 at her residence in Nalasopara, Mumbai. She was just 22 years old. The details surrounding her death remain unclear. While the police are currently investigating, her family held a private funeral for her. Reports indicate that her last rites were conducted on June 23 in her ancestral village in Ahilyanagar district, Akola, Maharashtra.


Funeral Arrangements for Sanchita Ugale


According to sources, Telly Talk India reported that Sanchita's funeral followed her family's traditions. Being unmarried, they performed the 'dashkriya' ceremony, completing the rituals in 10 days instead of the usual 13. Sanchita was cremated in her village, Dongargaon, with family and relatives present, although her colleagues could not attend.

Sanchita was found deceased at her home in Nalasopara. Reports suggest that police are investigating the possibility of suicide, which occurred on June 14 between 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Assistant Police Inspector Vinod Bagh from Achole Police Station noted that Sanchita had locked herself in her bedroom. Upon being alerted, family members and locals rushed her to the Vasai-Virar Municipal Hospital, where she was declared dead upon arrival. The police conducted an inquest and sent her body for a post-mortem examination after receiving a complaint from her father, Machhindra Ugale. An Accidental Death Report (ADR) was filed under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) on June 15.
