A Disturbing Accident in Osan

In a shocking and tragic event that has captured national attention, a woman in Osan, South Korea, attempted to eliminate a cockroach in her home by creating a makeshift flamethrower using a lighter and spray. This dangerous endeavor turned fatal when the fire rapidly spread, engulfing the entire apartment building.

The incident resulted in the death of a 30-year-old Chinese woman who lived on the fifth floor with her husband and their two-month-old baby.

Details of the Incident

As smoke and flames blocked their escape route, the couple made a desperate decision to throw their baby out of the window to a neighbor for safety. The husband managed to reach a safe area, but the woman fell and sustained severe injuries. She was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries a few hours later.

The building housed over 30 apartments along with commercial shops on the ground floor. At least eight individuals suffered from smoke inhalation due to the fire. Authorities are preparing to issue a warrant against the woman for negligent homicide and arson.
