Renowned Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas has voiced his strong disapproval of the alleged force used against students during a peaceful demonstration at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on July 20. The star of 'Minnal Murali' emphasized that the right to dissent is a cornerstone of democracy. In a poignant message shared on social media, he expressed concern over the treatment of the protesters and showed his support for those advocating for their beliefs.

"What wrong did these students commit? Did they vandalize property? Did they engage in violence? What exactly led to this treatment?" he questioned, underscoring the need to differentiate between peaceful dissent and unlawful behavior.
