Tom Holland Discusses Film Promotion

Los Angeles: Actor Tom Holland recently opened up about the ease of promoting films he feels passionate about, contrasting it with past experiences where he found press tours challenging.

Having starred in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey and gearing up for the release of his upcoming Spider-Man film, Holland expressed that his recent promotional activities have been enjoyable.

During an appearance on the Dish Podcast, he stated, "I’m absolutely loving it."

He elaborated, "When you’re promoting movies you’re genuinely proud of, it’s a breeze. When asked why audiences should see the film, you’re speaking from the heart, as you truly believe they should check it out."

Reflecting on previous experiences, he admitted, "There have been times when I’ve been asked, ‘Why should you see this movie?’ and I thought to myself, ‘You shouldn’t, because it’s not good.'"

The Odyssey, which premiered on July 17, features Holland as Telemachus alongside a stellar cast including Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, and Charlize Theron.

The film has successfully grossed over USD 300 million worldwide.

His next project, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is set to debut on July 31. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, this film marks Holland's fourth solo outing as Spider-Man and his seventh appearance as Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Holland concluded, "Promoting these films felt like a victory lap. I’ve truly enjoyed the process and take immense pride in both projects."
