The release of Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated film Jana Nayagan has been delayed due to a holdup from the censor board. While the production team awaits certification from the CBFC, the film has unfortunately leaked online just hours ago. Social media users have been warned to be cautious, as Vijay’s entry scene was shared last night, and now the entire film is circulating on various pirated platforms. In response, the producers of Jana Nayagan have taken legal steps against those responsible for the leak. Vijayan Subramanian, the attorney for KVN Productions LLP, issued a statement regarding the situation, emphasizing that the film was created with a significant investment and holds substantial value across theatrical, satellite, OTT, and commercial avenues.

Advocate Vijayan expressed that the leak has come as a shock to the filmmakers and is a pressing issue. He stated, “Certain scenes from the film Jana Nayagan have been illegally accessed, downloaded, copied, and circulated by certain individuals, posing a serious risk of digital leakage through various social media platforms.”

He further warned that any actions involving downloading, sharing, or circulating leaked scenes from Jana Nayagan via platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, or any other digital medium could result in serious legal repercussions and copyright infringement, making each individual involved liable for criminal charges.

Subramanian also disclosed that KVN Productions has already begun legal proceedings against the individual who unlawfully downloaded and shared scenes from Jana Nayagan on social media prior to its official release. “Further actions are actively being pursued against all individuals involved in this illegal distribution,” the notice stated.
The notice concluded by warning that downloading, receiving, storing, sharing, or circulating any leaked content related to Jana Nayagan could lead to immediate civil and criminal actions.
