The release of Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan has been delayed due to a holdup from the censor board. While the production team awaits certification from the CBFC, the film has unfortunately leaked online. Just hours ago, netizens were alerted to the leak, which includes Vijay’s entry scene that surfaced last night, and now the entire film is circulating on various pirated platforms. In response, the producers of Jana Nayagan have taken legal steps against those responsible for the leak. Vijayan Subramanian, the lawyer for KVN Productions LLP, issued a formal notice regarding the situation, emphasizing that the film was produced with a significant investment and holds substantial value across theatrical, satellite, OTT, and commercial avenues.

Advocate Vijayan expressed that the leak has shocked the filmmakers and is an urgent matter. He stated, “Certain scenes from the film Jana Nayagan have been illegally accessed, downloaded, copied, and circulated by certain individuals, posing a serious risk of digital leakage across various social media platforms.”

He further warned that any downloading, sharing, or reposting of the leaked scenes from Jana Nayagan via platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, or any other digital medium constitutes a serious criminal offense and copyright infringement, making all involved parties liable for legal action.

Subramanian also disclosed that KVN Productions has already begun legal proceedings against individuals who unlawfully downloaded and shared scenes from Jana Nayagan on social media prior to its official release. “Further actions are actively being pursued against all individuals involved in this illegal distribution,” the notice stated.
The notice concluded by warning that downloading, receiving, storing, sharing, or circulating any leaked content related to Jana Nayagan through any digital or social media platform could result in immediate civil and criminal repercussions.
