Gaining fame from reality shows often leads to increased social media scrutiny, and for Tanya Mittal, the latest buzz has sparked significant controversy. The finalist from Bigg Boss 19 is currently embroiled in allegations made by influencer and fashion entrepreneur Prince Chaudhary. He claims that Tanya and her team failed to return outfits borrowed from his label in a timely manner. What began as a disagreement over designer clothing has escalated into a major social media uproar, featuring accusations of abusive behavior from fans, claims of fake accounts, legal threats, and public disputes. Although Tanya Mittal has not responded in detail to all the allegations, the situation has certainly caught the attention of Bigg Boss enthusiasts.
Designer Dispute: Tanya Mittal vs. Prince Chaudhary
The conflict ignited when Prince Chaudhary publicly accused Tanya and her team of neglecting to return an outfit borrowed from his fashion brand, Nayaab By Prince. In a video he shared, Prince expressed that he had tried to keep the matter private for several months but felt compelled to speak out. He explained that the collaboration began when he reached out to Tanya via WhatsApp to propose a partnership with his local fashion label. Tanya reportedly responded positively and later connected him with her stylist for further arrangements.
According to Prince, Tanya's stylist chose three outfits from his collection, and one was sent to Tanya in Noida. He asserted that he had clearly communicated the need for the outfit to be returned within a month. However, he claimed that the outfit was not returned by the deadline, prompting him to follow up multiple times with Tanya's team regarding its return.
Prince further alleged that Tanya's stylist informed him that the outfit would be worn again by Tanya during a temple visit, which delayed its return even more. He noted that communication became sporadic, and he was eventually directed to another team member to handle the return process. He publicly questioned the support for smaller independent brands, asking, "Is this how you support a local brand?" In a subsequent video, Prince warned of potential legal action if the outfit was not returned within 24 to 48 hours. He shared screenshots of a message allegedly sent to Tanya's brother, indicating that he would take formal legal steps if the matter remained unresolved. Shortly after, Prince claimed he received a tracking ID for the return of the lehenga, questioning how the outfit had suddenly reappeared after being previously described as 'imaginary' by Tanya.
Allegations of Abuse from Tanya Mittal's Supporters
The situation escalated further when Prince alleged that he began receiving abusive messages online after he spoke out. He claimed that some social media users, identifying themselves as Tanya Mittal's supporters, targeted him with hateful comments. Prince shared screenshots of the alleged abusive messages he received from one such supporter. In response, he criticized what he termed 'fandom culture' and condemned the online harassment directed at him. He later posted another video featuring the song Besharam Rang, showcasing screenshots of the abusive comments and messages he received. He also noted that many of the accounts targeting him seemed to be 'bot accounts.'
This is not the first time Tanya Mittal has faced controversy since her stint on Bigg Boss 19. Previously, her former stylist Riddhima Sharma also made allegations online regarding unpaid dues.
