Tanishaa Mukerji Shares Insights on Her Mumbai Home
Tanishaa Mukerji, known for her close bond with her sister Kajol, recently hosted filmmaker Farah Khan and her chef Dilip on a YouTube vlog. During the tour of her home, Tanishaa discussed how she created her living space and revealed that Kajol financially supported her in purchasing the property in Mumbai. Having moved out of her mother's house approximately 14 years ago, Tanishaa decorated her new place with assistance from family members, including several of her Mukerji cousins who live nearby.
Tanishaa Credits Kajol for Financial Support
In her appearance on Farah's YouTube channel, Tanishaa provided a glimpse into her home, showcasing furniture that originally belonged to her mother, veteran actress Tanuja. She mentioned, "This is all my mum’s furniture because my dad was not a very homely person." When asked about Kajol's involvement, Tanishaa confirmed, "She signs the cheque books,” highlighting her sister's significant financial contribution to her home.
Having lived in her Mumbai apartment for 14 years, Tanishaa enjoys hosting gatherings on her spacious terrace and takes pleasure in caring for her plants. She also mentioned that many of her cousins, including Ayan Mukerji, director of War 2, and Joy Mukherjee's sons, reside in the vicinity. Tanishaa shared that a documentary about her illustrious grandfather, filmmaker Sashadhar Mukherjee, is currently in production and will be released by the family.
