Suresh Raina's New Venture into Acting

Former Indian cricket star Suresh Raina is set to embark on his acting career with a Tamil film. The production company, Dream Night Stories, is also entering the film industry with this project.

On Friday, the company announced Raina's involvement through a post on the social media platform X. Raina shared this news on his official account, expressing his excitement with the message, 'Welcome Chinna Thala Suresh Raina to DKS Production.'

In Tamil Nadu, Raina is affectionately known as 'Chinna Thala' by cricket fans. A video showcased him entering a stadium, where he received a warm welcome from enthusiastic supporters.

The film, presented by D. Saravanan Kumar, will be directed by Logan, with music composed by Santosh Narayanan. At 38, Raina is recognized as the first Indian batsman to score centuries in all three formats of international cricket. He was part of the Indian team that won the World Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in 2013. Raina announced his retirement from all formats of cricket in 2022.
