Dharmendra had been facing health issues for an extended period. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on November 10, 2025, due to severe breathing difficulties. His condition deteriorated, leading to him being placed on ventilator support. Although he was later discharged to continue treatment at home under family and medical supervision, he sadly passed away on November 24 at the age of 89. His final film, Ekkiis, is set to hit theaters on December 25.
