On October 29, the film's creators released the trailer for 'Ikkis,' showcasing the bravery, honor, and sacrifice of India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient. The narrative delves into a father's emotional journey as he seeks to comprehend his son's decision to defy orders and face near-certain death during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
Agastya Nanda delivers a powerful performance as war hero Arun Khetarpal in Sriram Raghavan's intense drama. For those unfamiliar, Arun Khetarpal, after completing his training at the Indian Military Academy, was commissioned into the 17 Poona Horse regiment and was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honor.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Maddock Films, 'Ikkis' is scheduled for release in December 2025.
