Mumbai: Renowned actor Suniel Shetty marked his 64th birthday on Monday, receiving an outpouring of affection from his family.

His son, Ahan Shetty, took to Instagram to express his love, stating, "Happy birthday papa. Thank you for your unwavering support, your quiet wisdom, and for always being there without needing to be asked. I love you @suniel.shetty."

Athiya Shetty, his daughter, also shared a touching message, saying, "Happy birthday to the best father and now the best Ajja. We love you so much! Thank you for everything you are @suniel.shetty."

KL Rahul, Suniel's son-in-law, also joined in the celebrations, posting, "Happy happy birthday Ajja @suniel.shetty. Keep inspiring us with everything you do. And please rest more."

Last week, Suniel and Ahan celebrated India's thrilling victory over England at The Oval stadium in London.

They shared a joint post on Instagram featuring photos and videos from the match, captioning it, "2 incredible days at The Oval! What a game and what a win! Come on India, always my India."

The father-son duo traveled to London to support KL Rahul, who opened for Team India.

India clinched a nail-biting 6-run victory against England in the final Test, securing the series.

On the professional front, Suniel recently portrayed Vikram Sinha, a suspended special investigations officer, in the action series Hunter 2.

He mentioned that connecting with Vikram's emotional struggles was easy for him as a father.

"Revenge becomes personal when it’s about your family. I’ve always loved action, but action with emotional depth? That’s another level—both to perform and to watch," he explained.

Looking ahead, Suniel is set to reprise his iconic role as Shyam in the upcoming Hera Pheri 3, alongside Akshay Kumar.
