Samantha Ruth Prabhu is making a powerful comeback with her latest project. The trailer for her upcoming Telugu action drama, Maa Inti Bangaaram, was released on May 25 during a spectacular event at the PCX Screen in Prasads Multiplex, Hyderabad. Directed by Nandini Reddy and produced by Samantha under her own banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, this film showcases a new and fierce side of the actress. Although she is seen in traditional sarees, she is not to be underestimated as she takes on adversaries with remarkable strength.

While striving to win over her boyfriend's family and contend with another seemingly flawless daughter-in-law, she is covertly confronting menacing threats. Her character’s dialogue encapsulates her reality; she confesses to not being a great cook, lacking a soft demeanor, and not fitting the mold of the ideal daughter-in-law. Yet, she vows to do whatever it takes to protect her family.

The trailer then escalates into thrilling action sequences. Throughout, Samantha, clad in sarees, is depicted engaging in fierce battles, delivering punches and kicks, and showcasing her prowess in intense fight scenes. Gulshan Devaiah plays the role of the antagonist.

Maa Inti Bangaaram is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on June 19, 2026. The release was postponed from its original date of May 15 to avoid overlapping with the IPL season, allowing Telugu fans to support the Sunrisers Hyderabad during their matches. The film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Gulshan Devaiah in lead roles, with Diganth, Gautami, Sree Mukhi, Lakshmi, Anand, and Manjusha in supporting roles. The music for the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

This project is produced by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, her husband Raj Nidimoru, and Himank Duvvuru. Raj Nidimoru, known for his work with the acclaimed director duo Raj & DK, who created The Family Man and Citadel Honey Bunny, plays a significant creative role in this film.
