Personal Background
Mokksha Sengupta, originally named Pritha Sengupta, was born to Partha and Rina Sengupta in Barrackpore, located in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. She completed her education at St. Claret School and Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School in her hometown. Prior to her acting career, she worked as a teacher at St. Augustine's Day School, where she also taught dance while pursuing her studies. Mokksha holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology from Asutosh College in Kolkata. A trained classical dancer, she has formal training in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Odissi, and is currently 26 years old.
