In an interview with the Galatta YouTube channel, lyricist Vivek recounted an experience of watching a film alongside Thalapathy Vijay. After enjoying 'Thiruchitrambalam', he returned to the film set and expressed his enjoyment to Vijay, who then inquired why he hadn't been invited to the screening. Surprised, Vivek questioned how the star could attend a public screening without being recognized, especially in Hyderabad, where both Tamil and Telugu fans would easily identify him.
Despite his concerns, Vijay was determined to go. Vivek secured tickets at AMB Cinemas, owned by Mahesh Babu. Upon arriving at the theatre and seeing the large crowd, Vivek felt anxious, but Vijay reassured him that everything would be fine. He donned a cap and face mask to disguise himself.
