Prabhas' mythological film Adipurush was released in cinema halls worldwide on 16 June. The film is getting mixed response from the audience. While a section of netizens are praising the film, some have trolled it for poor VFX, direction and dialogues. However, many celebs took time out of their busy schedules to watch the legendary film in theatres.

About Adipurush
Om Raut's magnum opus Adipurush stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh in lead roles. Adipurush is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana and stars Prabhas as Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Sunny Singh as Lakshmana. Saif Ali Khan is seen playing the role of Ravana in the film.
The film is produced by T-Series' Bhushan Kumar and Krishna Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Retrophiles' Rajesh Nair.
Adipurush was released in Telugu and Hindi with dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and multiple other Indian and international languages. It is one of the most expensive Indian films of all time. The film is in the news since yesterday due to many reasons. Audiences have claimed that Adipurush is nothing like Ramayana and have called for cheesy dialogues and poor VFX. In fact, in Hyderabad, when a movie buffet gave a negative review about the film, Prabhas' fans beat him up. And a lot is happening around the Lord Hanuman seat reserved in the theaters during the screening.
