Sidharth Malhotra Set to Star in Exciting New Comedy Film in 2025

Upcoming Comedy Film Featuring Sidharth Malhotra

Mumbai: Actor Sidharth Malhotra is gearing up to star in a new comedy film that is yet to be named, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.

Raaj, recognized for his work on the Dream Girl series and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, is collaborating with producer Mahaveer Jain for this project, which is scheduled to begin filming in September 2025.

A source close to the production shared, "This untitled film promises to be a grand comedy entertainer, and the entire team, including Sidharth Malhotra, Mahaveer Jain, and Raaj Shaandilyaa, is thrilled to start filming in the latter half of 2025. The characters and storyline have the potential to evolve into a unique high-concept franchise. The script is penned by Sanjeev."

Co-produced by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, known for the Fukrey series, this film is part of Mahaveer Jain's expanding production portfolio. The source further noted that Jain is actively working on several other films at different stages of development.

"With this untitled comedy and a creature comedy in the pipeline, Mahaveer Jain is poised to captivate audiences in 2025. Both projects feature distinctive scripts designed for large-scale entertainment," the source added.

This new venture adds to Mahaveer Jain's impressive lineup, which includes ‘Nagzilla’ starring Kartik Aaryan, where he will team up with Karan Johar, with Mrighdeep Singh Lamba directing once again.

As for Sidharth Malhotra, this comedy film comes at an opportune moment as he wraps up Param Sundari and gears up for an upcoming collaboration with Ekta Kapoor and TVF. His busy schedule also includes Race 4 alongside Saif Ali Khan and potential projects with filmmaker Saran Sharma and producer Karan Johar.
