The actor reached out to his followers on social media, urging them to keep his father in their thoughts and prayers, emphasizing that the next 24 hours are critical. This news has understandably caused concern among fans, especially given that Shoaib's father has a history of serious health challenges, including a previous brain hemorrhage and partial paralysis from an earlier stroke. The family has been under immense stress, particularly as Shoaib's wife, Dipika Kakar, battled liver cancer last year.

Health Emergency for Shoaib Ibrahim's Father

In a heartfelt message on Instagram Stories, Shoaib informed his followers that his father had another stroke early in the day and was rushed to the hospital. He wrote, “I need all your prayers & duas for Papa. Papa had a stroke this morning and has been admitted to the ICU. Please, please keep him in your prayers. The next 24 hours are crucial.”

This isn't the first time Shoaib's father has faced a severe health scare. In July 2021, the family went through a similar ordeal when he suffered a major brain stroke and required ICU care. During that time, both Shoaib and Dipika had appealed to fans for their prayers for his recovery. Shoaib later updated everyone that while the stroke did not severely damage the brain's veins, his father needed to remain under observation in the ICU for several days. Following the 2021 incident, he experienced partial paralysis on his left side due to a clot that formed during the stroke. Earlier in February 2021, Shoaib had also shared that his father underwent surgery.

The Ibrahim family is currently enduring a tough phase, grappling with multiple health issues. Recently, Dipika Kakar underwent surgery to remove a cyst after her battle with stage 2 liver cancer. In June 2025, she had a tumor removed as part of her treatment, and she later announced that she was finally tumor-free following the successful operation. Over the past months, Dipika has openly shared her health journey and recovery updates on her YouTube channel, keeping fans informed about her treatment and family life.
