Shoaib Ibrahim's Father Admitted to ICU After Stroke: A Call for Prayers
Shoaib Ibrahim's Father's Health Crisis
Shoaib Ibrahim has recently provided a concerning update regarding his father's health, revealing that he experienced another stroke on May 23 and is currently in the ICU. The actor reached out to his followers on social media, urging them to keep his father in their thoughts and prayers, emphasizing that the next 24 hours are critical. This news has sparked significant worry among fans, particularly as Shoaib's father has previously faced severe health challenges, including a brain hemorrhage and partial paralysis following an earlier stroke. The family has been enduring a tough period, especially after Shoaib's wife, Dipika Kakar, fought liver cancer last year.
Shoaib Ibrahim's Father Suffers Another Stroke
In a heartfelt message on his Instagram Stories, Shoaib Ibrahim informed his audience that his father had suffered a stroke that morning and was quickly taken to the hospital. He wrote, “I need all your prayers & duas for Papa. He had another stroke this morning and is now in the ICU. Please keep him in your prayers; the next 24 hours are crucial.”
This isn't the first time Shoaib's father has encountered a serious health issue. In July 2021, the family faced a similar crisis when he suffered a significant brain stroke and required ICU admission. During that time, both Shoaib and Dipika had publicly asked for prayers for his recovery. Shoaib later provided updates, indicating that while the stroke did not severely damage the brain's veins, his father needed to be monitored in the ICU for several days. Following the 2021 incident, he experienced partial paralysis on his left side due to a clot that formed during the emergency. Earlier in February 2021, Shoaib had also informed his followers about his father's surgery.
Challenging Times for the Ibrahim Family
The Ibrahim family has been navigating a challenging period, marked by various health issues. Recently, Dipika Kakar underwent surgery to remove cysts after her battle with stage 2 liver cancer. As part of her treatment, she had a tumor removed in June 2025. Following the successful procedure, she shared that she is now tumor-free. Over the past months, Dipika has been candid about her health journey and recovery on her YouTube channel, where she regularly updates fans about her treatment and family life.
With Dipika's father-in-law now hospitalized, millions of fans of both Shoaib and Dipika are sending their prayers for his swift recovery and good health.
