In an exclusive interview, Shilpa stated, "I was being harassed. There was no need for anyone to know about me. Today, I stand here, and I am being honest. I had no other option. I was blamed for crores. The show was running, but I was not allowed to work."
The actress mentioned that the entire industry seemed to be against her, leaving her feeling isolated. However, she remained unfazed, explaining, "Because no one was coming to support me." Shilpa further expressed the importance of sharing her experience of being defamed without justification. "Legally, I was being harassed. If a self-respecting girl were in my position, I would have left my name and walked away. But if I had taken my own life, people would forget me in four days and label me a coward," she added.

"After joining CINTAA, I was subjected to humiliation and was expelled. I faced harassment at the lowest level. Therefore, I left the show, and it was crucial for me to explain what defamation is and how it feels to be wrongfully accused. Legally, I had no other choice," she stated in Hindi.
