This revelation was made during a podcast hosted by Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa. The actress faced backlash not only from social media users but also from fellow actress Hina Khan, known for her role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, who criticized Shilpa for her accusations. In response to the criticism, Shilpa has released a new video addressing the negative feedback she received.

Shilpa Shinde Addresses the Criticism

In a video shared on her Instagram, Shilpa stated, "I didn't do it for money. I had already left the show and accepted the blame placed on me. After Bigg Boss, I met someone whose father had taken his own life due to false accusations, and he found inspiration in my story to keep going." She acknowledged that she anticipated backlash, noting that the world often fails to recognize positive actions.

Shilpa expressed her inability to live with the lie any longer, emphasizing the importance of confessing the truth, whether sooner or later. She reflected on her struggles, stating, "Sometimes you need a chance for that. You don't know what I've been through. I hope no one else experiences this." She recounted moments when she felt hopeless, yet she insisted that one should not fear if they have done nothing wrong. "No one supported me then, and I don't expect support now. I'm prepared to face this alone," she concluded.
