Shilpa Shetty's Inspirations
Mumbai, July 23: Actress Shilpa Shetty, currently a judge on the dance reality series 'Super Dancer Chapter 5', has opened up about three remarkable women who have significantly influenced her life and career.
Shilpa named Helen, Rekha, and Madhuri Dixit as her enduring inspirations, stating, "These three women have always inspired me throughout my life."
She expressed admiration for Helen, noting, "No matter what she wore or how she performed, it always seemed appropriate and graceful."
Regarding Rekha, Shilpa remarked, "Rekha Ji could convey so much with just her eyes; her expressions and lip-sync were extraordinary."
Madhuri Dixit, according to Shilpa, embodies elegance in every performance. "I learned to dance by watching her videos. These three women have been a tremendous source of inspiration for me," she added.
A Tribute to Her Mother
Shilpa also paid tribute to her mother, Sunanda, sharing, "My mother did more for me than anyone else could. When I was just 17, I was quite naive. During that time, she traveled with me and supported me for nearly a decade."
She continued, "My mother made my life her priority. She was not only my mom but also my manager, advisor, and my toughest critic. Everything I am today is because of her."
New Season of 'Super Dancer'
The judging panel of 'Super Dancer Chapter 5', which includes Shilpa Shetty, Geeta Kapoor, and Marzi Pestonji, has returned to the show airing on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV.
Shilpa previously discussed the unique aspects of the new season, stating, "It's uncommon for a reality show to focus on anything beyond the contestants' performances. This season, 'Super Dancer' will highlight the inspiring stories of the contestants' mothers."
She added, "As a mother myself, I understand that while we embrace the roles of a wife, daughter, and sister, motherhood is paramount, and our children remain at the heart of our lives."
"We often celebrate the children, but their mothers equally deserve recognition. On behalf of all kids, I want to express gratitude to every mother out there because mothers are the true stars behind their children's success."
