Aamir Khan is preparing for his eagerly awaited comeback with Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual successor to his beloved 2007 film, Taare Zameen Par. This new project centers around children with special needs, featuring Aamir in the role of a basketball coach.

A Surprise Visit from Shah Rukh Khan

In anticipation of the film's theatrical debut, the production team released a touching behind-the-scenes video showcasing a surprise visit from Shah Rukh Khan. In the footage, Shah Rukh is seen entering the set, much to the joy of the cast members. He shared that Aamir had been encouraging him for several days to come by. "Aamir has asked me at least ten times. He said, 'Come and meet the actors. They are doing wonderfully. I didn’t have time before, but every time I see him, he’s calling me, saying, 'Please come.' Just three days ago, he told me, 'Shah, tu ana yaar (Come on, please)!'" Shah Rukh recounted with a smile.

Engaging with the Cast

During his visit, SRK interacted with each cast member, inquiring about their experiences and even taking photos with them. Some of the young actors expressed their admiration for his films, including Chak De! India and Don. The highlight of the visit was when Shah Rukh struck his iconic arms-wide-open pose, which elicited cheers from everyone present.

Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 20. The film also features Genelia D’Souza and is an adaptation of the Spanish film Campeones.

Certification Challenges

Recently, the film faced an unexpected challenge when the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) requested two cuts, which Aamir initially resisted, citing the project's creative integrity. Ultimately, the film received official clearance from the CBFC.
