SEVENTEEN Marks Emotional Milestone at 11th Anniversary Fan Meeting

On June 21, SEVENTEEN celebrated a significant milestone during the 2026 SVT 10TH FAN MEETING SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND, held at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. This event not only marked the group's 11th anniversary but also served as an emotional farewell as the members prepare for their military service. The concert featured heartfelt speeches from Dino, Mingyu, S.Coups, Jun, Joshua, and Seungkwan, which deeply moved the audience, leaving fans cheering for their beloved K-pop group. The celebration also included a vibrant performance commemorating their debut in 2015. Each year, SEVENTEEN and their fans, known as CARATs, come together to share performances, reminisce, and discuss the group's future. This year, amidst the festivities, the members acknowledged the impending temporary separation due to South Korea's mandatory military enlistment.

SEVENTEEN has established itself as a self-producing group, showcasing remarkable teamwork among its 13 members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. Their heartfelt messages during the event resonated with fans. The members reassured CARATs that their bond would remain strong during the upcoming hiatus, emphasizing that this is not a permanent goodbye but a promise to reunite. They expressed hope to return as a complete 13-member group in 2028.

Mingyu expressed his reluctance to step away from performing, stating, "I didn't want to, but I must take a break from the stage for a while. I feel grateful to the CARATs who have supported us throughout these years, and I appreciate my fellow members for their resilience." Jun reflected on their journey, saying, "In our 20s, we chased our dreams together, and thanks to you, we achieved many of them while discovering new aspirations." DK added, "Your promise to wait for us gives me strength. I am determined to return in better shape with new music." Group leader S.Coups was visibly emotional, which touched the hearts of CARATs. Hoshi and Wonwoo, who are currently serving in the military, also attended the event to support their bandmates.

Since their debut in 2015, SEVENTEEN has become one of the leading K-pop groups worldwide, achieving numerous milestones through albums, world tours, and a strong connection with fans. Currently, the group is navigating military enlistment, with members serving at different times. Jeonghan began his service in September 2024, followed by Wonwoo in April 2025. Woozi and Hoshi are set to enlist in mid-September 2025, while the remaining members—Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino—are expected to begin their service in the latter half of 2026.
