Scarlett and Karrion Kross are preparing for their first public appearance following their recent exit from WWE, which was confirmed last night. This event marks their return to the spotlight after their contracts lapsed last week.
The announcement was made by Big Event NY, revealing that the couple will participate in the EXS Entertainment x Sports Expo on Saturday, November 15, at the Suffolk Credit Union Arena in Brentwood, New York. This expo is being promoted as the largest autograph event in the Northeast.
Initially, the duo's departure from WWE led many to speculate it was part of a storyline, with expectations of their return. However, the narrative shifted when Scarlett and Karrion Kross declared themselves free agents, especially after WWE removed signs related to Kross during a recent episode of Raw.
Clarifications on Their WWE Departure
There is ongoing speculation regarding whether Scarlett and Karrion Kross had any agreement to stay with WWE. In an interview with a prominent sports journalist, Kross clarified that their exit was not a scripted event.
During the discussion, Kross revealed that if they had chosen to remain with WWE, they would have had to separate, as the company offered him a contract extension that did not include Scarlett. Kross sought clarity on the financial terms of WWE's offer, which was ultimately rescinded.
“My contract was up last week,” Kross stated. “I never actually received a contract, like an offer, until last week… I think it was Tuesday, off the top of my head. I got the offer. I wanted to know how they came to the valuation of that offer. I just wanted, you know, some information, some metrics, some analytics that support into ‘Hey, this is how we got here.’”
Karrion Kross revealed that WWE’s new offer to re-sign him only included him and did not include Scarlett.
