In the film Dhurandhar 2, every actor has made a significant impression, and Sara Arjun's performance as Yalina Jamali has resonated deeply with viewers. She portrays the daughter of Jameel Jamali, played by Rakesh Bedi, and is married to Hamza Ali Mazari/Jaskirat Singh Rangi, portrayed by Ranveer Singh. Prior to Sara's selection, more than a thousand candidates auditioned for the role of Yalina, but she ultimately secured the part in Aditya Dhar's film. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra discussed Sara's casting journey and shared Aditya's initial response to her audition.

During a conversation with a media outlet, Mukesh explained that the requirements for Yalina were quite specific. The filmmakers sought a fresh face who could bring a unique perspective to the character. He noted, "Lagna chahiye ki wahan ki hai, kyunki usse yeh feel hota hai ki uss mulk mein aap jaa rahe ho. That’s the whole idea. If you've seen part 2, the scene where she says, ‘Are you a Hindustani agent?’ That was my audition script," he revealed.

Mukesh mentioned that after narrowing down the candidates, 50 individuals performed the audition scene. Ultimately, they chose Sara. After she completed her audition, Mukesh sent the video to Aditya via WhatsApp. The director's reaction was, "Kaun hai yeh?" Mukesh explained that he informed Aditya about Sara's background as a child actor in advertisements and films. Initially, there were concerns about her height, but they concluded that she fit the narrative well, as it made sense for the character's storyline.

Mukesh praised Sara's audition, describing it as 'kick-a**'. He also mentioned plans to share her audition footage on social media to showcase why she was the ideal choice for Yalina's character.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 has achieved remarkable success at the box office, grossing Rs 1,128 crore worldwide and surpassing Rs 700 crore in India within just nine days of its release. The film features the original cast, including Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Ranveer, Sara, Arjun Rampal, Manav Gohil, Danish Pandor, and Saumya Tandon, along with cameo appearances by Akshaye Khanna and Yami Gautam.
