In a recent conversation, Saqib was questioned about the effectiveness of violence in films, referencing successful titles like Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar' and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal'. He acknowledged their commercial success but pointed out that excessive action without emotional depth can lead to viewer fatigue. 'There are many films that have relied heavily on action but lacked emotional resonance,' he noted.
He emphasized that for action sequences to resonate, they must be grounded in a compelling emotional narrative, which he found in the script of 'Kaptaan'.

His acting journey began with 'Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge', followed by roles in films like 83, 'Kakuda', and 'Race 3'.
