Sanjay Dutt Returns with New Projects


Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for an exciting return to the silver screen with several upcoming films. One of the most anticipated projects is Aakhri Sawal, which tells the story of a passionate young scholar, Vicky Hegde, who publicly challenges his mentor, Professor Gopal Nadkarni, portrayed by Dutt, over allegations of institutional bias. The film's first look teaser was unveiled on Hanuman Jayanti, with the trailer initially set to debut on April 30. However, recent reports indicate that the trailer's release has been postponed due to delays in obtaining clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

As per reports, the censor board has requested modifications to the trailer before granting approval. A source revealed, “The trailer has been delayed due to pending censor clearance.” The new release date for the trailer has not yet been disclosed.

Aakhri Sawal delves into the contentious topic of the Babri Masjid demolition in 1992, exploring the roots of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Directed by Abhijeet Warang and penned by Utkarsh Naithani, the film features a talented cast, including Namashi Chakraborthy, Nitu Chandra, Tridha Choudhary, Mrinal Kulkarni, Sameera Reddy, Amit Sadh, and others in significant roles.

In addition to Aakhri Sawal, Dutt will star in Khalnayak Returns, a spiritual sequel to his iconic 1993 film, Khalnayak. He is also part of Akshay Kumar's upcoming project, Welcome To The Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan, alongside Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tusshar Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, and Shreyas Talpade.
