Alia humorously remarked that her loud laughter even woke her sleeping daughter, Raha, who was seated next to her. “I was laughing so hard without realizing Raha was asleep beside me, with my headphones on, disturbing everyone,” she recounted, emphasizing the show's comedic effect.
Alia also praised Raina's comedy special, "Still Alive," calling it “pure art.” During their chat, Raina revealed that he had performed the special around 200 times, with one performance ultimately selected for streaming. He shared his unique method for preserving the emotional essence of the piece, stating, “I would just perform that part on stage and mentally place myself back in that room. I would think about that room, just put myself there, and it would make me cry every time.”
Since its debut, "India's Got Latent" Season 2 has enjoyed tremendous success, garnering 44 million views on YouTube within just three days. The episode is also available on Netflix, where it has consistently topped the platform's trending list, further cementing its popularity among audiences.
This new season marks a significant revival for Samay Raina and his show, especially after the controversies that plagued the first season.
