Samantha Ruth Prabhu Set to Make a Grand Comeback with 'Maa Inti Bangaram'
Samantha's Exciting Return to Telugu Cinema
Mumbai, January 7: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is preparing for her much-anticipated return to the Telugu film scene with her upcoming project titled "Maa Inti Bangaram".
To heighten the excitement surrounding this already buzzworthy film, the production team has released the first look poster directed by BV Nandini Reddy.
The poster features Samantha in a simple brown saree, poised inside a bus, with a fierce expression that suggests she is ready for a confrontation.
Sharing this intriguing poster with her followers on Instagram, Samantha encouraged them to stay tuned, stating, “You just keep watching... #MaaIntiBangaram will be connecting with y’all.(sic).”
In addition to the poster, Samantha announced the teaser trailer's release date for "Maa Inti Bangaram", which is set to drop on January 9 at 10 AM.
The filming for this drama, created by her husband Raj Nidimoru, has already been completed.
Notably, Samantha has undertaken most of the action scenes herself, even while wearing a saree, making this film one of her most physically challenging roles to date.
A source involved with the project revealed, “Following her roles in ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Citadel’, Samantha aimed to push her limits further. In Maa Inti Bangaram, she’s performing most of the action herself, and doing it in a saree. It’s a physically demanding role that offers a visually striking portrayal rarely seen in cinema.”
The film is produced by Samantha under her own banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, alongside Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvurruu.
Discussing the film, producer Himank Duvvuru stated, “‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ was conceived as a narrative grounded in emotion and values, yet presented with the scale and excitement of a true action spectacle. Samantha's commitment to performing most of the action herself while in a saree adds a unique and powerful authenticity to the film. We have brought together world-class technicians to ensure that the vision is realized with global excellence while remaining deeply rooted in Indian culture.”
