Salman Khan's New Film Announcement


Salman Khan is preparing for his upcoming film Maatrubhumi and has confirmed that his collaboration with Dil Raju, titled SVC63, featuring Nayanthara, is set for a 2027 release. This project signifies a notable partnership with Telugu producer Dil Raju and director Vamshi Paidipally. The announcement has generated considerable excitement among fans of both Hindi and South Indian cinema, as Salman officially revealed the film. Salman Khan will star in a high-budget action thriller, produced by Dil Raju and helmed by National Award-winning director Vamshi Paidipally. The film was announced by Salman on his social media on April 24, where he posted a video of himself arriving on set, embracing producer Dil Raju, and interacting with the crew. Nayanthara was also seen arriving and joining the team.



In his announcement, Salman emphasized that the film is being developed with a long-term vision, which is why it is scheduled for an Eid release. He reassured fans that more information will be revealed at the right moment and urged them to remain patient, expressing that he shares their excitement and anticipation. The film promises to be a grand production, featuring a stellar cast from both Hindi and South Indian cinema.

Currently, Salman Khan is also focused on the release of Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace. Previously known as Battle Of Galwan, the film was officially renamed by Salman Khan Films. Initially set for a theatrical release on April 17, 2026, it has faced several delays due to production changes and is now expected to premiere in mid-August 2026.



The film is inspired by the real events of the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, where Indian and Chinese forces confronted each other along the eastern Ladakh border. Salman portrays Colonel Santosh Babu of the 16 Bihar Regiment, who was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra. Chitrangda Singh plays the female lead, with Apoorva Lakhia directing the project.
