Salman Khan's Upcoming Action Film Set for Eid 2027 Release: What to Expect?
Exciting Announcement from Salman Khan
On Friday, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan revealed that his next action-packed film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is scheduled for release during Eid in 2027.
This untitled project, produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, features the talented Tamil actress Nayanthara as the lead female role. Filming commenced in Mumbai earlier this week.
Salman shared this exciting news through a behind-the-scenes video on his Instagram account.
In his post, he humorously advised fans to think ahead, stating, "You need to think a bit ahead—that's why Eid was announced. Don't worry, we'll reveal the other one too when the time is right. Have some patience, just a little. You'll have to wait as much as I am. Honestly, whatever you're feeling right now, I'm feeling the same... haha."

This announcement continues Salman Khan's tradition of releasing films during Eid, a practice that has seen him deliver numerous hits like Wanted (2009), Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016), Kick (2014), and Bharat (2019).
The film will also see Shirish and Kuldeep Rathore as producers, with Rafi Kazi joining as a co-producer.
This collaboration marks a significant moment in Indian cinema, bringing together two major stars in what is expected to be a grand theatrical experience.
Director Vamshi Paidipally is known for his successful films such as Yevadu, Oopiri, Maharshi, and Varisu.
Nayanthara, a prominent figure in South Indian cinema, made her Hindi film debut in the 2023 blockbuster Jawan alongside Shah Rukh Khan, which grossed over Rs 1,000 crore globally.
Her notable works in South Indian cinema include Chandramukhi, Ghajini, Billa, Raja Rani, and Viswasam.
In addition to this project, Salman Khan will also appear in Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, which is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between India and China.
