The narrative will focus on Colonel Santosh Babu, portrayed by Salman Khan, and the 16 Bihar Regiment, who were responsible for implementing a disengagement agreement along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Alongside Salman, the film features Chitrangda Singh as the female lead, with Abhilash Chaudhary and Ankur Bhatia in pivotal roles.

Himesh Reshamiya has been brought on board as the music composer for Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.

In the first look poster, Salman sports a mustache for his soldier character, exuding a fierce demeanor with a bloodied face and a look of intense determination.
