Salman Khan has recently shown his support for students across the country who are protesting against examination paper leaks. He has reached out to Sonam Wangchuk, a prominent Ladakhi activist, urging him to conclude his hunger strike, which he began on June 28. Wangchuk initiated his indefinite fast at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi to back the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in their call for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, citing issues related to examination irregularities and NEET paper leaks.

Salman Khan's Message to Sonam Wangchuk

On July 23, Salman Khan took to social media to address the ongoing protests. He encouraged the students to cease their demonstrations and return to their families, emphasizing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recognized their demands and will take 'strict action' against those accountable for the leaks. The actor stated, "Students are a top priority in terms of education and security, so there’s no need for them to worry or cause their parents distress. The Honorable Prime Minister has tweeted, and I am confident he will act decisively against those responsible for this leak. So students, please return to your homes and parents."

Additionally, Salman made a personal appeal to Sonam Wangchuk, asking him to end his hunger strike and offering to provide him with home-cooked meals if desired. He expressed, "Sonam, it’s enough, my friend. Don’t prolong this. Save your spirit for another day if necessary, which I doubt, and eat something. If you’d like, I can send you food from home."
