Salman Khan Opens Up About Health Struggles on The Great Indian Kapil Show

Salman Khan's Health Update
Recently, Salman Khan made his appearance as the inaugural guest on the latest season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. While he captivated the audience with his signature humor, he also took a moment to discuss some serious health issues he is currently facing.
In a heartfelt exchange with Kapil Sharma, Salman humorously touched on the topics of marriage and divorce, highlighting their emotional and financial toll. However, he soon shifted to a more serious note, revealing significant health challenges.
“Hum ye jo daily ki haddiyan tudwa rahe hain, pasliyan toot gai, trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain. AV malformation hai, uske bawajood chal rahe hain (I’m out here breaking my bones every day, ribs are fractured, I’m working despite having trigeminal neuralgia, there’s an aneurysm in the brain, yet I’m still working. There’s also an AV malformation, and still, I’m carrying on),” Salman shared, detailing the daily obstacles he encounters.
He continued, “All of this is going on in my life. Aur jahan unka mood satka, woh aadha humara leke chala gaya. Ye younger age mein hota toh theek tha, phirse kama lete. Ab wapis se… (And the moment their mood soured, they will take away half of what I had. Had this happened when I was younger, it would’ve been fine. I could’ve earned it all back. But now, starting over again…)”
Salman first disclosed his battle with trigeminal neuralgia, often referred to as the 'suicide disease', back in 2017. He has now also revealed the presence of a brain aneurysm, which is a dangerous bulging of a blood vessel in the brain, along with an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a rare condition involving a tangle of blood vessels that disrupts normal blood flow.
Despite these health hurdles, Salman expressed his determination to keep working, particularly in action roles that come with physical demands.
On the professional front, Salman Khan was last seen in the film Sikandar, which featured a star-studded cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and others.
He is reportedly collaborating with director Apoorva Lakhia for his upcoming project, where he will portray an army officer. This film is said to be inspired by the Galwan Valley clash, with shooting expected to commence soon.
