Mumbai: Renowned screenwriter Salim Khan has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, as reported by a source close to the family.
Khan is celebrated for his contributions to iconic films like "Sholay," "Deewar," and "Zanjeer."
According to the insider, "He (Salim Khan) was brought to Lilavati Hospital this morning and is currently in the ICU."
Having co-written numerous classics with Javed Akhtar during the 1970s, Salim Khan marked his 90th birthday last November.
His son, the famous actor Salman Khan, was seen outside the hospital by photographers.
