Sai Durgha Tej is set to embark on an exciting new venture, SDT19, prior to the debut of his historical drama, Sambarala Yeti Gattu. He has collaborated with the renowned director duo, Sujith and Sandeep, celebrated for their previous work on KA, to create a concept-driven, mythic-sci-fi film. This project is produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner and presented by Archana.

Before Sambarala Yeti Gattu hits the screens, Sai has shared insights about his upcoming film. The official announcement poster sets a dramatic tone, showcasing a colossal fiery sphere encircled by a luminous ring against a mountainous backdrop. A solitary warrior confronting this celestial spectacle suggests a storyline rich in fate, exploration, and ancient enigmas. He took to social media to unveil the poster and also shared a photo with the film's directors and producers.
SDT19 features an impressive technical crew, including cinematography by Vetrivel Palanisamy, music composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath, editing by Naveen Vijaya Krishna, and production design by Gandhi Nadikudikar.
Sujith and Sandeep previously directed Ka, which premiered in 2024. This Telugu period thriller, starring Kiran Abbavaram, grossed over Rs 53 crore worldwide against a budget of Rs 22 crore. It surpassed SR Kalyanamandapam, becoming Kiran's highest-grossing film. The plot revolves around Abhinaya Vasudev, an orphaned village postman who uncovers a mystery involving missing women. The film has been lauded for its unique setting, gripping suspense, and a highly praised climax.

While preparations for #SDT19 are underway, Sai Durgha Tej is actively filming Sambarala Yeti Gattu, directed by newcomer Rohith KP. The crew has recently commenced a 35-day climax shoot, reportedly allocating nearly Rs 20 crore exclusively for this high-stakes sequence. The action-packed climax, choreographed by stunt director Kevin Kumar, aims to capture the scale and emotional depth reminiscent of the Mahabharata’s Kurukshetra war, promising a visually stunning cinematic experience. Produced by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under Primeshow Entertainment, the film has already teased audiences with glimpses through Asura Aagamana, released on Sai Durgha Tej’s birthday. The production team has praised Sai Durgha Tej for his unwavering dedication and discipline, highlighting his strong work ethic and commitment to authenticity as vital to the project. Rohith KP’s enthusiasm and dedication to the film have also been commended, with assurances that quality will not be compromised.
