Saanvie Tallwar Accuses Karan Kundrra of Unconsented Kiss on Set
Allegations Against Karan Kundrra
Saanvie Tallwar, who starred alongside Karan Kundrra in the show Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, has made serious allegations against him. In a recent interview, she claimed that Karan kissed her without her consent during a scene. She stated that while the kiss and a slap were part of the script, Karan initiated the kiss before the director called for action. Following this, Saanvie slapped him back. She also mentioned that the director was replaced after this incident. The show aired from 2015 to 2016 on &TV.
Details of the Incident
Saanvie Tallwar's Claims
In her conversation with an entertainment portal, Saanvie explained, "There was a scene where he was supposed to kiss me, and I was to slap him, but the director hadn't given the cue yet. He kissed me anyway, and I slapped him." She expressed her disbelief that Karan could kiss her without her consent.
After she slapped him, Karan did not react immediately. However, Saanvie alleged that he later returned and slapped her hard, stating that there is a notable difference in the force of a slap between a man and a woman. "I fell to the ground, and then he verbally abused me and my family. I felt completely unsupported," she recounted.
Producer's Apology and Further Allegations
Saanvie recalled that Ektaa Kapoor, the producer of the show, apologized to her on Karan's behalf, attempting to ease the situation. She also claimed that Karan showed interest in her while he was still in a relationship with Anusha Dandekar. "I informed Anusha, who was Karan's girlfriend at the time, about his interest in me," she added. Following this, Anusha began visiting the set, which made the atmosphere increasingly uncomfortable for Saanvie, describing it as 'toxic.'
Continued Discomfort on Set
Ongoing Issues with Karan
Saanvie further accused Karan of making her uncomfortable during another romantic scene, claiming that the director intentionally did not call cut. After she raised her concerns, she alleged that two directors were replaced during the filming of the show. As of now, Karan has not publicly responded to these serious allegations from his co-star. He is currently appearing in Laughter Chefs 3 alongside Tejasswi Prakash, which airs on Colors TV.
